RSS2HTMLPro.ASP script converts RSS into HTML using HTML based templates and provides optional support for multiple RSS feeds as input, keywords and phrases based filtering, forced plain text for source feeds, customizable date time formatting
Features: RSS2HTMLPro.ASP script can get contents from RSS feeds and get the same converted into HTML format for publication in a web site. The script is able to handle multiple RSS feeds. the content can be filtered by keywords and phrases. The publishing of HTML is governed by a pre defined HTML template. You can support both RSS and ATOM formats. It supports customization of output date & time format. Podcasting and Videocasting feeds are also supported. It has the ability to force plain text for feed description in cases where the HTML formatting is used in the feed. Fairly sophisticated filtering is supported. Basic parameters like include (+) or exclude (-) operators are supported. The script can filter content by title, description, link, category etc. using keywords. Filtering is also possible by title, description and link. Complete source code is made available. The need for such automatic publication is driven by trying to create fresh contents more often at a given site. This in turn is driven by the need to rank higher in search engine results. Search engines do prefer frequently updated content and higher the ranking, higher is the likelihood of traffic coming through.
Overall: This is something that has to be done but does not necessarily guarantee high amounts of traffic.
